Verizon - FCC net neutrality protests (nationwide - guide, flyer)
Internet users outraged by top Verizon lawyer turned FCC Chairman Ajit Pai’s plan to gut net neutrality are planning to protest at Verizon retail stores across the country on Thursday, December 7th, one week before an expected vote at the FCC. Protesters will make it clear to members of Congress that the time is now to stand for net neutrality, not Verizon’s bottom line. And please remember, this event is about protesting actions of Verizon executives, lobbyists and their supporters in Washington, not the employees at these stores.

Net Neutrality (Content vs. ISPs + FCC)
The FCC plans to slash net neutrality rules, allowing ISPs like Verizon to block apps, slow websites, and charge fees to control what you see & do online.
They vote December 14th. But if Congress gets enough calls, they can stop the FCC.

Make your voice heard.  Call, email, Tweet, Facebook, it all adds up. Contact your representatives.  Call the White House: 202-456-1111.
Call the FCC:  888-225-5322. Call the FCC Inspector General: 888-863-2244. Call Ajit Pai's office directly: 202-418-1000 (email: Ajit.Pai@fcc.gov).

The FCC's Michael O’Rielly (Mike.ORielly@fcc.gov, Twitter @mikeofcc) says, “It is important to note that Internet access is not a necessity in the day-to-day lives of Americans.
