                   The Governor's Fishing Opener has been a state tradition since 1951 or 1958.
                   Gov. Mark Dayton was unsuccessful in 2011, 2012, & 2014 but caught a walleye in 2013 and caught 9 in 2015.
                   Gov. Tim Pawlenty caught 2 saugers & 2 walleyes in 2010 after several unsuccessful years.
                   Gov. Jesse Ventura caught 2 northern pike in 1999.
                   Gov. Arne Carlson did not catch a fish in eight fishing openers.
