Travelogue
Bryce Canyon
is not technically a canyon, but a series of amphitheater
shaped basins filled with hoodoos.
Paria's Buckskin
Gulch
in Utah and Antelope
in Arizona are both slot canyons,
formed through
seasonal (and sometimes deadly) torrents of water rushing through a
narrow passageway. The gymnasts, pictured in the gallery above, were
never in any danger, beyond the dangers already present in gymnastics.

Sports
Education
When
Jenifer Simbhudas hit her nose on the bar, our crowd said, "Pinch the
top of the nose (just below the bridge) to stop the bleeding and tilt
the head forward, not
back." Even the University stadiums
are educational around
here.
We hope Jenifer is recovering.
Of course, the other side of the stadium could offer a second opinion.
